The Institute for Financial Wellbeing (IFW) is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to positively influence the way the financial services industry works with clients, shifting the focus from money being the goal to money being a tool with which to open up options that can improve wellbeing.
The IFW’s Mission is to educate, empower and support people of all ages in every community to feel safe and confident around money by creating a space for conversation, collaboration and positive change.
The IFW’s Vision is to have been instrumental in ensuring every adult and child has access to a financial wellbeing pathway by 2030.
IFW members include financial advisers and planners, coaches, expert academics, behavioural psychologists, researchers and HR professionals, and anyone interested in how financial wellbeing can improve the quality of our lives.
If you aren't yet a member, you will need to join the IFW before you can access our Community.
IFW members benefit from the support and stimulation of being part of a vibrant community of likeminded finance professionals, and enjoy access to collated, trusted resources, as well as bespoke resources, on the topic of financial wellbeing.
We also offer Corporate member packages, which may be more appropriate if you’re part of a company with a number of financial planners or coaches.

Thank you for joining the Institute for Financial Wellbeing. You have joined a growing community of financial advisers and planners, coaches, expert academics, behavioural psychologists, researchers and HR professionals, and other people interested in how financial wellbeing can improve the quality of our lives.
We host monthly online events and an annual in-person conference where we provide a space for talks, discussions and idea-generation on the topic of financial wellbeing.
We also collate and recommend resources as well as working in collaboration with IFW members to create bespoke resources related to aspects of financial wellbeing. We have much, much more in development.
As a not-for-profit organisation, every membership counts for the IFW and enables us to continue researching and finding ways implement financial wellbeing to make positive developments in, and beyond, the finance industry. Thank you for being part of the conversation!
